This is the new and improved Garfield High School website. The previous site, spiritof7-6.com, became corrupted and I was not able to fix it or do much with it so I created this site and am in the process of manually moving photo albums, posts and other information from the old site to this new site. Now for the bad news. If you were already a registered member of the old site, you will have to re-register to join this site. The old passwords and data can’t be transferred to this site.

ghsspirit.spiritof7-6.com offers many new capabilities. For instance, it has an:

Animated Chat Room

Private Messaging between members (which keeps your e-mail address private from everyone except those you wish to give it to)

Classified Ads page where members can post items for sale or items wanted

HD video and photo capability

Events Calendar that members can post directly to

File and photo uploading by members

Pages and Posts can be printed out in a pdf format

Posts can be attached to your Facebook or Twitter pages

It’s Smart Phone friendly!

Subscribing to the site is FREE but you do have to be a registered member to view all of the information on the site and use all of the functions of the site. Some posts and functions are restricted to members only, such as the Chat Room, Classified Ads, Private Messaging and some posts.

There are currently three levels of membership: Subscriber, Contributor and Author. The capabilities of these roles are as follows:

I am in the process of writing some “How To…” instructions for using the site capabilities. If you know how to use Microsoft Word though, you should be able to figure out how to post to this site without too many problems.
